The following work addresses the concept of sustainable development with a social and gender equity approach to working for the political and ideological priority of the agricultural and forestry sector, in relation to the realization and enjoyment of women's and men's rights. This contributes to improving quality of life indices in the rural area of the 26 de Julio Agricultural Production Cooperative by generating equitable processes in this context, implementing the Gender Strategy of the Agriculture Delegation in this productive sector of the municipality of Abreus, and proposing recommendations for the improvement and implementation of these actions. In this regard, the Science, Technology, Society (STS) approach is adopted, focusing on rural women, who must achieve greater social, community, and family recognition, raise awareness on gender issues in family, workplace, vulnerable sectors, and the community at large, and foster new sources of employment, leadership, and female empowerment; and thus, improve household income, with significant economic contributions from them.
