This research presents therapeutic physical exercises combined with digital massage to improve joint mobility in older adults with shoulder osteoarthritis. Theoretical methods employed included the analytical-synthetic, hypothetico-deductive, and inductive-deductive approaches. Empirical methods used included document analysis, observation, measurement, and a pre-experimental design; these were supported by interview techniques and the statistical-mathematical method of empirical frequency distribution. The study sample consisted of nine patients and a Community Physical Culture instructor from the "26 de Julio" sports center in the Aeropuerto Viejo community of Bayamo municipality. An initial assessment identified limitations in existing Physical Culture classes regarding the treatment of osteoarthritis in older adults, as well as restricted shoulder movement caused by pain. Subsequently, a program of therapeutic physical exercises combined with digital massage was developed and implemented over a six-month period, leading to the study's conclusions.
